In the original Worms on MS-DOS, you could glitch out the weapons.
If you select the minigun (high rate of fire, low shot damage) and hit Space to fire and F1 to switch to the Bazooka (single shot, high explosive damage), it would fire a stream of rockets that would obliterate the entire map.
