5-person parties in RPGs deserve more attention. They don’t feel as constrained as 4-person parties, but not as broken as 6+ parties. They’re a nice Goldilocks zone.

To give a general update on my current game project,
I’ve moved it away from RPG Maker MZ to RPG Architect. I’m still getting the hang of the new engine and progress has been slow. I’ve also been rethinking some systems like how stats work and the likes.
I’m trying to tackle it bit by bit daily.

While I do think some people get too rabid towards GenAI art creators, I’ve yet to meet one who responds to criticism well and doesn’t act arrogant as hell.

On year ago today, the tabletop roleplaying game industry lost one of its most influential designers and illustrators, not to mention the most senior and prominent transgender professional in the field. Her work continues to resonate with me to this day.
