Lane looks like he’s having a rough year. Mailata is still pretty young. So is Jurgens. Missing Landon really hurts a lot. The one I can’t figure out is Steen. In camp, they were saying he looked better than Becton did last year.

You don’t wanna overpay for a 35 year-old catcher but it is pretty bleak out there. I would draw the line at a two year deal and let him go if he can get more than that elsewhere.

Alternative is sign like Danny Jensen and platoon him with Marchan and hope you get stronger elsewhere
