I know it’s hard for Americans to get decent mental health therapy&counseling when needed. That said-vet your therapist carefully. Any small red flags, weird vibes, dismissiveness&gray area boundary nudging are something to take note of. It’s disturbing what can be under a mask of healing&help

This is insane. I feel like I’m going insane when I’m watching this. Not just the fact that it’s clearly their fault, but the way a heavily-armed squad of masked thugs immediately jumps into the street and brutalizes the woman they just hit, despite having no idea who she is.

I just watched the video of the Portland Cop threatening to arrest an ICE agent if they drive their truck through a crowd. Now I see this where the General of the Oregon National Guard says if they get called up they will protect the protesters. People are fed up.

I had both a steroid injection into a frozen shoulder, and prior to that I had acupuncture in the same area. Both times it felt actually pretty good, like technically it hurt, but a hurt-good. Like when someone digs into a knot in your back, but ultra tiny targeted with an electric intensity.

Subaru of Austin have a mascot dog, that was raised and cared for the past three years with one of their employees. After laying off the employee, they forcibly removing the dog from their custody. More it in the screenshots. Any Austin TX folk could maybe let Subaru know what you think about that.

As someone who was subjected to conversion therapy, it doesn’t work. It won’t work. It’s torture. I was hooked up to an IV and made to vomit watching gay porn for two hours per week. I was prayed over. Bibles and the Book of Mormon were shoved in my face.

I know this is spurred by a recent JAMA piece, but I have seen this type of piece many times over the past several years, and it is a disgusting framing to shift climate change blame to the people suffering its consequences rather than the actual perpetrators.

(RNS) — Last month, the Rev. David Black stood in front of a Chicago-area U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility and spread his arms wide. Adorned in all black and wearing a clerical collar, the pastor looked up at a group of masked, heavily armed ICE agents on the roof and began to pray.

“I invited them to repentance,” Black, a minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA), said in an interview. “I basically offered an altar call. I invited them to come and receive that salvation, and be part of the kingdom that is coming.”

But when Black began to lower his arms a few seconds later, the agents responded to his spiritual plea by firing pepper balls, or chemical agents that cause eye irritation and respiratory distress, video footage shows. One struck Black in the head, exploding into a puff of white pepper smoke and forcing him to his knees. Fellow demonstrators rushed to his aid, and as the pastor rubbed his face in pain, the agents continued to fire.

“We could hear them laughing,” Black said.

get a p line brompton bike with motor assist. The P line is made a bit lighter than the standard c line, so it balances out the weight of the motor. It’s got the best fold. You can get onto buses carrying it, you can take it so many places and if someone does (rarely) fuss, you can bag it.
