I honest to god he no idea I follow so many mariners fans. Then again I do probably follow a disproportionate amount of PNW people people.
If it had even gone for that, it would have been better than what we got. Like commit to the bit at least.
As someone who also lives nowhere and everyone else somewhere I absolutely understand this.
It's grotesque and it was so weird talking to other fans who ate it up.
To me, this was my great disconnect with the recent movies. I wanted to laugh, and they wanted me to cry. I wanted to have fun, and they wanted me to take off my shoes because I was on holy ground.
Murray joked in an interview with Fallon about fans coming up to him and crying and talking about how moved they were, which is what you want to hear about your comedy movie. And I feel bad for people who have to make their entire life about a single moment of joy from their childhood.
To me, this is definitely Afterlife's greatest sin. Jason Reitman is more interested in making a movie that's a tribute to his father and this weirdly idolized version of the Ghostbusters than making a good comedy.
Like I am of the age where Ghostbusters was pretty big as a kid, I have no problem admitting I am a very big fan of the movies and cartoon. However, I am not sure the emotion I want to feel during a Ghostbuster movie is anything but laughter.
Out of nowhere thought, but I think the biggest crime of every Ghostbuster movie post-GBII is not being funny. They are all not funny in their own ways, but the last two end up being these weird, reverent nostalgia navel-gazing movies (Frozen Empire makes some improvements here at least).
You ever see someone and they are so femme you think “just start her already”?
I still see people talking about the Steam Deck, and people buying one, and I have yet to see a single person talk about buying or using the Switch 2.
It typically moves sideways at a slight slant.
I mean there was an army of people in inflatable suits so it did not even register that this was AI I didn’t look closely lol
I’m never sure if I’m supposed to feel pride or utter embarrassment at “protests” here.
Come to think of it has Hickman finished a single project in like the last 5 years? I feel they get announced then nothing.
I thought Hickman was supposed to be spearheading these books?
I think people fail to realize that I am weird; I just play a normal person on TV.

age verification restrictions are inherently unjust even if you solve all the issues around privacy or data leaks

gating access to information based on intrinsic traits (yes even age, yes even porn) is fundamentally evil and provides no real benefit other than the censor’s moral self-indulgence
Do you have any extremely niche, but serious, ethical stances?
I also feel this is an admission they aren’t a game company anymore. The museum, the theme park the movies it’s all about becoming their next thing.
I’m about 90% positive I also got the Banshee Christmas of ‘ 98 because my parents got me Rogue Squadron and apparently did not realize the giant sticker on it that said required a 3D accelerator actually meant that. (Many games still had software mode.)
Take a Ride with Voodoo 2. 🔥

You'd still need a dedicated 2D card, but wow, the Voodoo 2 was such a step-up from the 3DFX Voodoo.

I had a Voodoo Banshee, released late in 1998, which was a 2D/3D hybrid from 3DFX and successor to the abysmal Voodoo Rush.
