Judge: That's what I'll do. Prohibit federalization or deployment of any NG troops into Oregon. For all reasons in prior opinion. Deployment of federalized military is ultra vires and contrary to law, violating Title 10, section 12406. I also find it's likely that defendants violate 10th Amendment.

This appears to be video of what happened in Brighton Park yesterday where events are completely different from what DHS said. DHS is doing the ramming here, and it appears that one of their own rams into the initial vehicle that started the whole thing

CPD has 20+ injured on duty this afternoon, most/all from federal use of gas. Related: no arrests by CPD, no documented uses of force by CPD. (I wasn't everywhere / didn't see every skirmish. And possibly some late-entry TRR forms to come.) Saw two federal arrests, saw one on video didn't witness.

Chaos in Brighton Park. This is representative of the amount / direction of pepper and smoke sent into the neighborhood, in this case, for no reason I can discern other than because they were leaving. Feds had a clear path out in a different direction, and residents were vocal but not violent here.

I think the scale of the South Shore raid also requires that the whole thing was planned and authorized at a high level.

This wasn’t just two ICE agents grabbing citizens because they are lazy and/or hyped up.

That was the formal plan, to handcuff citizens for hours after kicking in their doors.
