Labor is negotiating the details and passage through parliament of these environmental laws with the LNP, not the Greens. That does not bode well. Without far stronger environmental laws the extinction and climate crises will get far, far worse. We all suffer, wildlife, ecosystems and people.

The question to ask the people who still insist, despite all the evidence, that their difficulties (house prices and rents, supermarket ripoffs, underfunded healthcare) are the fault of immigrants - "what makes you think that?" Or - "where'd you get that idea"? Make them consider the source.
