I'd rather die than be an american. And many Canadians feel the same way.

We had hoped that people under orders to invade us wouldn't comply, that people wouldn't allow it. But clearly, they will.

Citizens have done nothing useful up to this point, so why would going forward be any different? Every single day there's another wave of 'they can't' and 'this isn't allowed', but it still happens.

It's not pro-facist, it's pro-reality. I'd love to be proven wrong. But I wasn't born yesterday.

I -hate- having to sit through a video for something I could just read. Ugh. There are tik-tokers out there whose whole thing is just reading articles into a camera, and it makes me sad. How pathetic that is. EVERYONE needs to read more!

I just got back from London yesterday and was lamenting that I'm so over being sweaty. Some cars I think have AC, but most don't. It's HOT
Although, coming back to Vancouver Canada, land of 'the cars have AC so don't open the windows but it never works so people just sweat' isn't a ton better.

These towns are so remote, too. I used to live in Thompson. People from Flin Flon can go to The Pas I guess, but that may be in danger, too. Other than that, you're driving multiple hours to another city big enough to host the evacuees.
My heart goes out to them.
