The most alienating things about the lessons being learned (presumably) from generalized voters is that when your basic human rights rest on court rulings and political will of the executive branch, every election can be and have been life or death for POC and LGBT people.

Begging some of y'all to sit down & reconcile yourselves to the fact that has been the status quo for non-white voters since the Civil Rights Act passed 60 years ago (and is increasingly shared by the queer community).
