*Finding out whether the Coens knew about Mumford and Sons before they cast Carey Mulligan in Inside Llewyn Davis.
Psychonauts 2 was so good that I kind of forgot that I haven't really liked a single non-Psychonauts Double Fine game. (Played the first hour of Keeper, eh.)
Usually we get the metrics from you reading in the inbox! But we won't today, because the email and the published post are actually two separate posts this time, thanks to some behind-the-scenes shenanigans.
It was a fun one to write!
So, here’s a desperate plea: if you could click and like this post, it would make me feel less bad about the disastrous events of this morning.

Good luck, Violet! You’ve got this!!
VAN GUNDY: Now I’m wasting all this time fiddling through menus, building a little town. Is that fun for anyone?

JACKSON: I find the town-building element provides a meaningful respite from the sensory overload of the pit’s Arkanoid meets Vampire Survivors action.

BREEN: Ball checks in for Garland
One of our best eps imo
VAN GUNDY: I don't get it. Why does he sing like that? And why is he seemingly always on a boat? Seriously, who let him sound like that?

JACKSON: Personally I find Cameron Winter's warbling vocals to be a refreshingly novel spin on the showmanship of the classic rock frontman.

BREEN: SGA ... BANG!
VAN GUNDY: I'm sorry but that's idiotic. When did first weekend box office became the sole measure of success? And why do we keep pretending like there's no revenue generated from ancillary markets?

JACKSON: I disagree. In the movie business, perception is king.

BREEN: Kyle Kuzma from 3... way off
And all the better for the varied tone of the 1.5 hours that precede them! Just a knockout.
It Was Just An Accident is an absolute stunner, my God.
