Not that any OU fan wants a Texas Ex's take...but playing Mateer with a Top 10 ranking and zero losses seems like malpractice. If you lose this game, a playoff berth is still in front of you. But you'll destroy it all if he goes out with a season-ending injury.

What's really concerning is that we've now had 2 offseasons in Sark's tenure where he has not addressed the O-Line at all in the portal. Either he's badly evaluating the talent he has, or he's relying on people who aren't able to evaluate what they have. Then the season begins and it's a sh*tshow.

Agreed. I'm a Texas Alum, but the Emory Bellard era uniforms for A&M are possibly my favorite look in SWC history. (I also love Akers Texas, Hatfield Owls, and Yeoman Coogs)

Yeah, the '91 Series is the first I have a real memory of. I was 11, staying up late to watch Kirby Puckett's game 6 homer.
That was also Jack Buck's last call for CBS. Wish I'd gotten to hear more of his broadcasts.

(3/3) Did you happen to notice how beloved Gaylord Perry was when he passed? How pure was his game? You're getting way too wrapped up in a game of cat-and-mouse that MLB has always played with rulebreakers. The only cardinal rule in MLB is that you can't bet on baseball. The rest has a lot of flex.
