I’m sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Mahmoud. Mahmoud was a computer engineer doing web development before this. He’s lost his job and home (and many coworkers) and is in a tent with his family including his children Zeina, 6 and Zane, 2. His wife Malak is 7 months pregnant.

I work for Seven Fingers and they do the same thing. It actually made me nervous to be in front of people getting attention like that… until one of the acrobats told me one night that he’d fought for the recognition because they couldn’t do the show without us. I melted.
