Oh yeah, Milk Bottle Sympathy would never have happened without social media. I wouldn't have known @sifarrier.bsky.social and @johnynocash.bsky.social otherwise - and we made music together without meeting and raised money for charity. A definite life highlight.

The people who are constantly complaining about the state of the country should have a look at who has been in power for the majority of the past 50 years and consider that the scapegoating, hate and nastiness they offer might not actually be the answer. And then shut up.
