There's nothing wrong with Elizabeth Berkley's performance in Showgirls, it's just a performance from a different movie altogether. She was VERY young and deserves the world to make up for how she was treated after that film was released. Give Berkley her flowers!

Anyway, I've never been to the US, but my Beigel Bake fav is salt beef with gherkin, no mustard. I barely ever eat meat but that bagel is one of many reasons I am not 100% vegan.

I wonder how different NY bagels will be from, say, Beigel Bake in Brick Lane in London (one of the oldest if not the oldest 24/7/365 bagel shops in the UK) - roast beef with gherkin and mustard, cream cheese & smoked salmon, that sort of classics
