They’ve probably played teams 4, 6 and 7, so games you’d expect to win, but honestly, they couldn’t have done much more.
This is a low-scoring and competitive World Cup. The only point of the group stage is to progress, and they are right on course.
I will entertain no negativity at this time

England are 3 from 3, the only team 100% after 3 games. They have the most points, and the best run rate. Their two best batters have played match-winning knocks, and all of their bowlers have bowled well. No opponent is yet to bat out the overs.

And they’ve still not really played brilliant

Looked at one point like 280 was on, but this looks a pretty good score to me

Short answer is no idea! I do, because I always have, and the recipe always says to!

Costs almost nothing, takes a small amount of effort to peel and grate, elevates everything

Fresh ginger makes everything better. Almost never worth using ground/grated from a packet

Man cuts a full toss for four and their whole sport acts like it’s special

They had years to prepare, and they kept telling us how prepared they were. How do you go from that, to having no strategy, this quickly?

(yes, you're right - three of those four have played for the mighty London Spirit)

Ghosh (currently 66*) joins, Gardner, Mooney and Knight in brilliant, game-saving innings when the team is in trouble. Truly, this is the recovery World Cup

Yes, but it *feels* right.

India are 100/5, having been 124/6 & 159/5 in their first two games.
Australia have been 128/5 & 76/7 in their two games.
South Africa were bowled out for 69.

Somewhat puts into context England's stumble vs Bangladesh. This is a competition (so far) or top order failure and lower order resistance.

This is quite a good skewering, given it's the spectator.

I would expect that, within 5 years, that publication is publically calling for UAE-style government

Party donor Nick Candy says "I cherish the values we grew up with here in the West. But today you are more likely to find the values we grew up with in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.’

The sort of tv that makes you say ‘I won’t work from home tomorrow’
Which is pretty cool

Old fashioned watercooler tv in the best possible sense. Highly entertaining stuff. #Traitors

Emmanuel Macron may announce France's sixth Prime Minister since the 2022 presidential election within the next 48 hours.

This follows last-ditch negotiations led by outgoing Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu.

Clearly behind Fry, Ross and Carr. Maybe balding and Daly? Is that it?

If you have opinions on this and are on the club's mailing list there was an e-mail sent out today surveying fans about attitudes towards their brand partners.

Good to see the Conservative Party committed to keeping the deficit down by *checks notes* spending £2 billion giving tax breaks for private education, creating a massive new deportation force and pledging to maintain pensioner benefits.
