I backed this one too and I am generally someone who enjoys a multiplayer solitaire, but this game fell very flat. It was a strange mix of having too much going on, all of which was only mildly interesting, and no interaction at all in a setting that felt like there should be.

This is not an anti diy post. I diy lots of projects. This is an assertion that if you are going to diy you need to spend a little bit of time doing the research and figuring out how to do the thing. Not deciding to make your own drywall tape with painters tape because they are both tape, etc.

Luna always looks at me so betrayed when I move her when she is partially off the bed and prone to rolling over in a way that will cause her to fall off (at which point she will pretend like nothing happened and no one saw anything if I don't move her in time before the thing happens)

The after image of the candelabra. It has had a few layers of oil wash applied and mostly removed so it is a hair dull and just looks more antique in general.

Though, of note, TC Maker is not "single project" equipped really. You would need to sign up for a membership, go through orientation, do safety training on the 4x8 which generally requires some hours on the smaller ones, etc.. Sometimes someone will run a job for someone so maybe ask that?

It feels increasingly facile to talk about silly little games. I honestly don't know what I can contribute in the face of such blatant fascism that hasn't been said better and louder elsewhere. Drawing attention to the boiling pot feels absurdly obvious but I'll continue elevating insightful voices.

It is a very reasonable need. There is a reason it is so high up the pyramid, Maslow gets it.

An altered Maslow's Hierarchy Of Needs where the top level has been replaced with the text "werebear hurled from a giant eagle" and the sub text "I mean, this one seems pretty self explanitory"

I feel like the 3rd one mostly needs to be viewed as a super hero movie. Lots of stuff blows up, Legalos is there doing sick flips and stunts, and there is a love story that no one asked for or is sure why is here
