In today’s Reddit news: the mods of the Procreate subreddit took down someone’s artwork of Master Chief in front of the trans pride flag, saying that it was too politically charged for the current climate. Reposts, comments criticizing the mods, or general pro trans art are also getting deleted

People who disliked Steph’s industry critique, were asking her to do more investigative journalism, and when they did, those same people ignored her

I was deeply disappointed at the time. I think it was a case of just not being noticed as opposed to getting actively ignored/buried, but I think it was an important report that should have been picked up by more media.

Sadly, my reporting work has always gone down that way.

Steam indie creators are *still* doing horror games with shitty flashlights that only show you a small ass pinhole circle surrounded by darkness, because they don’t know how flashlights work. I’m genuinely surprised gamers accept that in horror games

tons nowadays claim they were mad because of the homophobia from the creators, but I’m pretty sure mid 2010’s gamer homophobia was pretty normalized at the time so I doubt it that was actually most peoples problem. it just wasn’t DMC5 which was ALWAYS happening

I recall there being a legit reason why it didn’t pick up traction and become such a big outrage, cause I really doubt it was simply “selective bias” there. Plenty of good games have gotten shot for having AI, so it shouldn’t have been any different with E33
