I chose my words carefully when I called the executives behind microtransactions child predators. Carefully and incredibly correctly.
Oh you were sooooo right. Back then likening it to predation struck as a tad hyperbolic...Nope, it was probably an understatement.

Not blowing a gasket, feeling vindicated, because what Kotick’s involvement in the Epstein files has done is demonstrate exactly how fucking right I’ve been for ten years.

Oh I’m absolutely fucking disgusted, but now it’s unequivocally clear as fucking day. It was always, *always* about predation.
hear that? thats @commandersterling.bsky.social blowing every single fucking gasket they got
The Epstein files reveal what powerful people see in video games: profit, coercion, and control

Just realized there’s almost no way these sick billionaire fucks haven’t eaten human meat, likely on more than one occasion.

I’m very correctly playing Tomodachi Life.

Here’s a cool thing, I’m being interviewed for this book alongside other queer creatives. Looking forward to having a big ol’ natter about transness & the genre.

It’s a super interesting subject and I’m really keen to see the finished book. So yeah, check this out if you like the Encybered Punks.
Trans in the Machine: Chronicling the new Cyberpunk Canon is now live!

The crowdfund runs all month.

Accessible pricing and a portion of funds go to good causes.

Let’s make this happen together!

Years of covering the business have taught me that “investors” and executives are thick skulled, irrational, impulsive children.

I cannot emphasize enough how comprehensive their stupidity is, but their cultlike devotion to regurgitative AI really helps get the point across.

Only a literal island of pedophiles could come up with using a hate campaign as a grooming technique.
Worse than that, according to the files it seem this was a conspiracy to take Trans people's rights, until they have nothing left but prostitution for income and then turn them into sex slaves.

I’m not allowed to safely use a public bathroom because a literal island of pedophiles said trans people might be sketchy.

… and somehow that’s barely a sliver of the things that happened thanks to a literal island of pedophiles making stuff up.

People who believe in “Ethical AI” must also believe in warm refrigerators, edible toxic waste, and billionaires who prefer to fuck adults.

And one of the first survivors to step forward to try to stop Epstein? A trans woman, who was promptly mocked and villified by the New York Post, New York Magazine, the courts and law enforcement.

The same thing that makes these rich assholes so utterly miserable inside.

When you have so much money you can afford everything reality has to offer, you have to look somewhere else for fulfillment.
Always have been. I'm not sure exactly what it is about money that makes someone completely lose touch with reality.

Bobby Kotick’s name has been associated with Epstein before, he oversaw one of the most abusive companies in the game industry, he’s already an alleged sexual harasser, he threatened an employee with murder, and he’s a billionaire.

Not shocked he’s in the files, but I’ll forever be appalled.
did you see that bobby's in there

I’m starting to suspect the mega wealthy are a bunch of sick and evil cunts.

we said all along that they wanted Gawker dead not because we embarrassed a pro wrestler but because the Epstein story is one Gawker was covering a decade before most other people caught up & was just one of many stories exposing powerful people and their misdeeds
Among the batch of newly released emails from Jeffrey Epstein: Epstein telling Peter Thiel he would “gladly share…expenses for the Gawker suit.”

This was sent the day after @rmac.bsky.social and @mattdrange.bsky.social reported in Forbes that Thiel was behind the lawsuit that would bankrupt Gawker

I reviewed Fighting Force Collection. As a fan of the original, I'm disappointed at just how little has gone into this . Lacking a lot of the love we often see in Limited Run releases, it's a steep price for a niche ROM and its crappy sequel.

I’ve been replaying the original Tomodachi Life. It’s still as entertainingly stupid as I remember, and I’m still a puerile infant who makes Miis sing about poo and wee and getting done up the bum.

I’m looking forward to the new one. Still can’t believe it’s actually *getting* a new one.

Annoyed that New Horizons had to make Gyroids yet another dragged out process but I finally have them.

Gyroids are the best bit of Animal Crossing, always.

Unlocked the hotel in Animal Crossing: New Horizons and I demand a fucking tribunal. Compensating my labor with hotel tickets that can only buy hotel souvenirs is blatant exploitation.

It’s company scrip, is what it is. The hotel and vacation planners pay you in fucking scrip.

Hi! I've been editing for @commandersterling.bsky.social and @caseyexplosion.bsky.social for the past few years, plus I have oodles of videos on my own YouTube channel. I do animations & assets from scratch as well! Here's a recent example from Casey: www.youtube.com/watch?v=63Oq...

Oh yeah, I do recall that. Cassandra strikes again.
@commandersterling.bsky.social i had a random intrusive thought early today as to how your 'Casandra of Video Games' title will remain as i was reminded of one of your videos a year+ ago where you commented that COD could underperform and you wouldn't be surprised and well .... 2025 proved that. XD

I’m entertained by the fact they rereleased Fighting Force. I’ve always had an immense fondness for it but I almost never see other people acknowledge the thing.

Total classic in my eyes, especially when my eyes can drink in such majestic early 3D graphics.

I’m finding the DLC for Animal Crossing: New Horizons much more interesting than a significant majority of the base game. It’s hard to go back and grind out my own house after getting to design loads of silly places with way more freedom.

It’s presented as “work” but home’s where the chores are.
