“We have to stop the crime in the act!”

This is what I’ve been waiting to hear.

Why isn’t this woman minority leader of the House?
I'M NOT SCARED OF YOU. WE ARE NOT SCARED OF YOU.
In less than a year, we have gone from an international leader in education, science and democracy to being ranked the same as Alabama in all three categories. MAGA! Winning!
I spend all this time trying to figure out what the master plan is, and it always hits me: nothing. Just conspiracy brain worms all the way down. And the most smug self-righteousness as Kennedy and cronies destroy over a century of concerted scientific effort and hard work.
And by the way, DJT, false master of the universe, I watched the whole unedited video of Reagan's take on tariffs, and the edited clip accurately depicts his stance, which is negative unless they are short term. This is just another tantrum from someone who doesn't know what he is doing.
It’s easy to gloss over the details in his daily madness.

He basically admits he is using tariffs to be petty and vindictive.

Nothing to do with the economy.

Not a care for those it hurts on both sides of the border.

Let’s see who in Congress calls him out.

Trump raises tariffs on Canada by 10% in retaliation for anti-tariff TV ad
Move is response to ad sponsored by Ontario that referenced Ronald Reagan’s support for free trade

Rule of Law Alert: Trump’s authority for country-specific tariffs comes from the International Emergency Economic Powers Act, which doesn’t mention tariffs—but does require a national emergency.

An ad showing that Reagan opposed tariffs surely is not a national emergency. (It may be a personal one)

It’s more than just bad priorities. It’s about lack of basic decency.
An excellent question and one which has no satisfactory answer that I have heard. Ideally we would become an altruistic society that uses robot productivity to improve the lives of everyone. Now that you've had a good laugh, we need to figure out an answer where everyone thrives.
For every action, there’s a reaction…

"Mate, I can't do anything but tell it to you straight. This Canada thing is literally the dumbest thing I've ever heard. The Canadians ran an advertisement showing Ronald Reagan being against tariffs. Guess what? Ronald Reagan was against tariffs."
First thing our toddler-in-chief has said that I agree with: smart people don't like me. Absolutely true.

Trump’s dismantling our anti–human trafficking infrastructure—gutting programs at Homeland Security, the State Department, and USAID—making it much harder to combat global sex trafficking.

Survivors around the world are watching in horror as the systems we built to protect them are torn down.

So the US military is about to become the Drug Enforcement Agency for South America since we obviously learned nothing from the last 60 years of foreign policy.
According to the Constitution, states regulate elections, not the federal government. The feds can monitor their asses off and it won't make any difference in the results of the election.

Does the DNC really not understand that their apparent abhorrence to progressives is not obvious, even though Bernie and AOC draw crowds by the thousands? Keep shoving corporate democrats in front of us and face the consecuences. I'm tired of voting for the least worst candidate.
Hakeem Jeffries endorses Zohran Mamdani for New York City mayor, 11 days before the election.

People will remember that.
Does anyone with a brain watch CBS anymore? They are completely compromized.

This is news on Fox? Not only is he weak and puny, he's also pathetic. Add that to your faux reporting.
It’s been over 2 weeks since AOC said Stephen Miller was weak and puny. Fox is still talking about it.
SCOTUS handed democracy to the oligarchs. Fuck you so very much!
State's rights. Apparently MAGA has forgotten about them after screaming about them for years to support racism.

This is what oligarchy looks like:

Trump gave corporate America a $920 billion tax break.

Now, corporations like Amazon, Meta, Apple, Google & Lockheed Martin are returning the favor by giving Trump $300 million for a fancy ballroom.

That’s a pretty good return on investment.
One has to wonder how much Trump's "friends" had to pay him personally for his incredible generosity.
Imagine how successful that company could be with $1T in its pocket and without all the baggage its CEO carries.
Musk ended Tesla’s earnings call with a fiery outburst over his proposed $1 trillion pay package, blasting advisers who tried to block it and warning his future at Tesla is on the line. He suggested he may leave if the deal doesn’t pass the Nov. 6 vote.
