How does someone become an anti-vaxxer or come to believe that chemotherapy is more dangerous than cancer?

I’ve spent all year working with Alexander Stockton and The NY Times trying to answer that question. Here’s our findings.

Shout out to my dad who, at age 81, got his first hole in one this morning.

Which means we are now tied for most holes in one by a Beres.

I know refuting misinformation can seem futile, but science matters.

Vaccines also cause hangnails, hiccups, misophonia, itchy scalp, those annoying creaks your house makes as it "settles," puppy diarrhea, and shitty neighbors. It's all connected, wake up sheeple.

Yolande Norris Clark used to call us the “Conspirituality bros” as a slur when we covered her shady ass business back in 2020.

Reading how many people she fked over, and the number of babies who died because of her “school,” is horrifying.

If tools like this spent as much time learning how to read a study and assess data as they do complaining about things they don’t understand, we might not be where we are as a society.

The 2nd slide is wild: technology doesn’t depend on the scientific process? My man 🫠

I’m sorry I’m rubbernecking here, but my god. Olivia Nuzzi’s ex, Ryan Lizza, published a poem Kennedy supposedly texted to his then-fiancee.

"Beres did a great job of reminding everyone of the importance of stepping outside of ourselves when it comes to health, and recognizing what it means to think about health in terms of a collective, public health, and not just on an individual basis."

So happy HHS is focused on making healthcare accessible and affordable for everyone and not getting bogged down in culture war issues the right invented.

I really appreciate all the experts sharing studies that vaccines don't cause autism.

Anti-vaxxers have never cared about clinical proof or science. Studies won't sway them.

They've clawed their way to power and won't give it up willingly.

And we're all going to be worse off for it.
