I used to get mad when people misused "decimated" to refer to things that weren't 1/10th destroyed, but I've given it some thought and now I've done a complete 360 on it

god, SAME. The amount of brain juice dedicated to figuring out if someone actually made the thing they posted should be none, and admittedly art theft was a thing before AI so it's never been that ideal, but it's gotten so much worse now

I don’t think ppl understand the whole “who cares if nobody likes it! make content for yourself” is extremely dismissive
Bc we ARE making the content for ourselves but it feels /bad/ when people don’t engage or show interest. You can care about both at the same time
