Yeah hydrocodone is the happy medium for me. Enough pain relief with less of the smushed feeling, and doesn't make me pop fevers and get the spins like codeine weirdly does

My brother had surgery for this plus nasal polyp removal earlier this year. It flattened his workaholic ass for a few days. I say this not to spook you but to encourage you to take it easy and say that all whining is completely warranted, complain away.

My cat has been avoiding my belly since I had surgery. She caught on pretty quick that stepping on it hurt me, and she started sleeping in her bed or by my head.
