I don't think it did though. It blew up the Harris campaign ( the Biden people making sure of that), but the Dem coalition voters are different now.

Bringing in Platner with his literal Nazi tattoo and shitty overall history makes completely clear non-white, non-cis, non-straight aren't welcome.

I think I've greatly misjudged how much white identity politics and antisemitism have grabbed hold of the supposed liberal-left.

I think of MAGA as "treats, but only for white people, mainly men," & now Platner defenders who seem to also believe "treats, but only for white people, mainly men."

The University of Virginia has capitulated to Trump on transgender and race (affirmative action) issues.

The details are currently sparse, but reporting suggests they've agreed to define trans people out of existence and ban trans students from facilities.
