When you see a wine mommy up close.
I'm going thru the stages of acceptance w/ a late life diagnosis of ADHD. It's messing w/ my head to think back on how much it affected.

I'm angry no one noticed bc ADHD girls are quiet & not disruptive. I'm also angry RFK Jr wants to ban the meds that finally stop my thoughts from going 100 mph.
This is what we call a metaphor.
Scoop: Trump has started demolishing the White House's East Wing facade to build his ballroom. The president had claimed construction of the $250 million building wouldn’t ‘interfere’ with the existing White House structure. /W @ddiamond.bsky.social wapo.st/4hqBNiU

They tend to have a higher opinion for STEM, but also have a blind spot when science contradicts their propaganda and agenda. Then that science "isn't real".

Fascists need total control, enforcing a created reality with censorship and misinformation, so there's one true authority on "truth": them.

My shyness and how I avoided people my whole life. Now I know it was my ADHD and neurodivergence. I'm realizing it was me protecting myself from overstimulation, misunderstanding social cues, and the fear of saying "too much".

I wish I knew sooner and stopped being mad at myself so long for it.

I'm learning late in life what it means to have ADHD & be neurodivergent. That I'm not broken for always trying to find answers.

I try to find the truth & strongly believe in justice. My empathy from my ADHD is a strength. What's happening in this country & around the world hurts my very being.

Fascists hate the liberal arts because they teach critical thinking skills: skills that make you question propaganda and not take what you're told by authority at face value.

It was all worth it then.

(shouting to the press secretary) Can you confirm whether the diarrhea was pre-loaded onto the aircraft or was it coming directly from the president's Ass?
The bar is so low it's somewhere in Hell now, but I'd rather Trump be literally shitposting to prove his "strength as a leader" than all the other shit he does. It's not like the United States has any reputation left that can be damaged.
We can't sound too biased about what that brown liquid might be.

I know it's a fool's errand to expect anything from the media but "President posts video of himself dumping diarrhea on America" is an important thing to call attention to for a dozen reasons
Not an endorsement, but my first reaction to hearing about today's Louvre heist was that I was impressed that they could pull it off.

as a person who has studied discursive theory it is very very annoying to me that ppl have come to think "performative" means "shallow, posturing, devoid of political substance"
I sometimes see people dismissing the No Kings protests as performative.

Protesting *is* inherently performative. It's unity in the face of injustice, to inspire more people to notice and join. That leads to change.

It *is* brave to protest under a government that attacks dissenting speech.
