#kidlitchat I have a QM doc. I modeled it after the one my friend and Query Queen, @dterkwrites.bsky.social shared with me. It's a Google doc that my answers FAQs in QM and links to my current query and synopsis and first pages docs. Then I research 1-5 agents each week and query them Saturdays.

#kidlitchat This is probably scandalous, but rereading my own words while drafting is part of my process. I know you're not "supposed to" do that, but I am a holistic writer, and I need to see and feel what I've written the day before in order to write more.

I don't use all the features in Scrivener, but the things I do use-- word count goals, side by side docs, & draft mode--- are incredibly helpful. I don't think I could write an entire ms without it! It works much better with Mac than PC, so yay, Mac! 🎉 #kidlitchat
