WOW!!!Happy anniversary to both of you! Have a fantastic weekend. I am headed to Bow Island today for a couple hours of signature collecting. Ken and I did pretty well at McBride's Bakery yesterday. Today I collect with Rob, I have never met him so I hope all goes well. Cheers!

Today, #ForeverCanadian brought 230,000 petition signatures to Edmonton. Our volunteers will continue collecting signatures until October 28. We need your signature to reach our 300,000 requirement to keep Alberta in Canada.

It was hard for me to hear from the live stream, so I did not watch the whole thing. All I heard was the number and he mentioned we are 2/3's of the way through, with 2/3's of the signatures received. I will keep an eye out for more info on their FB page

It was crazy windy up there. Still was a pleasant time. Met some nice people. I only need 12 more to get my 100 signatures. Little by little I am getting there.

What a line from the Pope! I am so pleased he is carrying on Pope Francis’ advocacy for immigrants.

More pointedly, the pope said, "Someone who says, I'm against abortion, but is in favor of the death penalty is not really pro-life. Someone who says, I'm against abortion but I'm in agreement with the inhuman treatment of immigrants in the United States, I don't know if that's pro-life."
