Still not ownership of a U.S. base. Still a normal co-operative training agreement like many we've had before.

Again today, local police outside Broadview just aggressively arrested more protesters. Tough to tell exactly how many, but looks like 3-4 people were just detained.

There is a ton of real reasons to be pissed at trump for. Corruption, graft, crimes against humanity, violations of U.S. law and the Constitution, Epstein.
This isn't one of them.

Literally no air base for Qatar is being built here. People need to do their research. Its a U.S. base that already exists and trains pilots from Singapore. The same is being done for Qatar pilots. There is another U.S. base that does so for NATO pilots. And Biden started the negotiations on this

The base already exists. Singapore uses it for their pilots. We have another base doing the same for various NATO pilots. Its literally the same type of deal. And, the process for this partnership was started under Biden

My mom, 93, owns 200 acres of farmland. Which makes her $35,000 off renting it to someone to farm it. Her tax share is $10,000. She's paying a third of her income to property taxes.
Do you honestly think that is fair? Really?

An example of why property tax funding for schools, local gov isn't a fair tax. In my state, over 60% of that funding comes from 6% of the population, mostly farmers who'd love to pay their fair share off income.

Sadly though, they'll likely do a sales tax, which just pushes the burden onto the poor and middle class.

There is a barrack being built that they are paying for, but you are correct, same U.S. base that Singapore sends pilots to be trained also. We have another base where multiple NATO countries do the same.

Of all the things we could be bitching on about trump this one is a non-story.
