Here's a new one for The Point -> Aus plans to have a central role at COP31 pushing for a fossil phaseout.

But that statement came at a time when a remarkable new record was hit, which I found in some government data.........go watch, or read -->>>

Herzog’s visit may be Albanese’s most flawed decision - and he’s made a few.

Dear President Herzog, To ‘reverse the brainwash’ (a Murdoch headline re your visit) please ask Netanyahu to allow full access to Gaza/West Bank for all journalists. Please explain the almost total destruction of Gaza’s infrastructure, housing, hospitals, schools + 70,000 ‘collaterally’ killed.

Of course any head of state should be safe while visiting Aust.

I don’t agree with his invitation, his actions - but while here of course he should be safe.

There’s been little to no violence for the many pro-Palestinian protests - no reason to expect that to change #auspol #nswpol

‘It could be the most divisive state visit to Aust since that of US president Lyndon B Johnson in Oct 1966 when the Vietnam war was at its height and Aust soldiers were being killed.

What was the prime minister thinking when he invited Herzog?’ #auspol

I hope that after the failed terrorist attack on Indigenous Australians that the RC into social cohesion and antisemitism will make time and space to consider how hatred directed at racial and religious minorities is also being directed at Aboriginal people. It was only luck that bomb didn’t go off.
