The problem with the Australian Labor Party is that their strategy has become their ideology. Campaigning for middle Australia to get power to do good things inevitably became middle Australia is a good thing which became Centrism is the path.

An engineer who helped build Melbourne’s public housing towers in the 1960s has condemned the Victorian government’s plan to demolish them, saying it’s expensive, unnecessary and environmentally irresponsible.
