I didn't get to play #Battletech today, but I did get to help officiate and shit talk a few games, plus took some pics of my Clan Jade Falcon Epsilon Galaxy models.

My condolences man. Take all the time you need.

Trying an experiment. A slow cover reveal for my upcoming novel.

Sqeeee!

That is a gorgeous cover, and I can't wait for this to come out!

The cover to BattleTech: Outfoxed, the first full novel for Katie Ferraro and the Fox Patrol, goes way harder than should be possible. The book comes out in 13 days. Pre-orders should start soon.
A Fox Patrol Griffin punches a Nightsky in the cockpit.

I never want to hear conservatives scream "there's a war on X-mas."

It's hard to say that, when stores are ALREADY putting out X-mas decorations.

If there is a war, it's being instigated by X-mas, as this holiday blitzkrieg can't even wait for Halloween to pass.

That's my take on the Lich - good eye! +10 Quatloos to you hah

I HATE the taste of jalepeno's though. It's not the spice, it's the flavor.

That, or Alien Earth/Shadowrun where the world governments are actual megacorporations.

It's scary how prescient so many of those movies were, and we all laughed it couldn't happen.

And here we are going full speed ahead towards Blade Runner.

I like ALL of the Atlas variants - except the dunce cap one. I hate that one. I got a salvage box with the Kurita/Oni/Hellboy one. Can't wait to paint it up

You had me until the Jalepeno cream cheese -but other than that, it does sound good!

so, after sleeping on it, I wasn't disappointed with #Peacemaker S2E8, it was just NOT what I was expecting. It wasn't a bad episode, had a lot of great moments, but after the hype, I was expecting something else.

I understand the setup for the DUC now. We'll see if pans out.

Just finished the #peacemaker S2 finale, and it was underwhelming. I get wanting to setup new things, but man this felt like a let down.

More thoughts later.

Howdy folks. My pen name is Sean Erik, and I have finally "finished" my 4th novel, Red Magic, a part of my Vince West series, and I'm currently attempting to work on some marketing material, and working on book #5.

A1 A little bit of both, depending on what is happening in the story. I try to have a cast of characters to pull from, but sometimes I do have to create characters to fit something specific within the story

Q1: Do you typically create characters to match the story you want to tell or build your stories based on character(s) already living in your head? #WeeknightWriters

A2: They have to feel like a real person, maybe not 100% backstoried out, but they need to feel authentic, not just a tool to drive the plot forward, or to give the protagonist something to do.

A3: I enjoy taking a handful of tags or concepts, throwing them in a pot, and stewing them into an interesting being who (hopefully) leaps off the page.

If that's good enough I want to see the models you REALLY put some work into hah.

That thing is gorgeous

Love the Black Hole! I watched it so many times growing up.

Depending on just how well Aces sells, I could see them coming out with some boxes for it, especially when they make the jump from Alpha Strike to Classic.
