Adelita Grijalva won her election to Congress 28 days ago with 70% of the vote yet Mike Johnson refuses to swear in. This is a continuation of the GOP's Jan 6 attack and their rejection of democracy.

I want more people to care that SNAP benefits are being cut off on November 1. 40% of SNAP beneficiaries are children. This is callous and vile.
Thank you. I actually didn't see anything because sometimes I have to take a break from everything. So I appreciate you.
There are benefits that come with age. Our culture doesn't appreciate them, but you might as well enjoy them as aging is not an option for any of us as we travel this one way path. 🙂

Hegseth improperly discloses war plans on a Signal chat to people-including a reporter

Trump tries to text Pam Bondi but makes it a social media post instead

Lindsey Halligan texts a reporter for days-then tries to claim it’s all off the record

This administration is SOOOOO incompetent
EXCLUSIVE: One Saturday afternoon in October, my phone lit up with a notification.

I glanced down at the message.

“Anna, Lindsey Halligan here,” it began.

So began my text exchange with the woman who is prosecuting the president's perceived political enemies.

It's beyond metaphor that he has literally knocked down half of the White House.
And I'm sure you have seen the ai video showing that he is the king of 💩.

What in the hell is it with MAGA Republican officials openly texting about their love of Nazis and hatred of black people?!?!

Now it's Paul Ingrassia, Trump's nominee to lead the Office of Special Counsel!

This is a Senate-confirmed role.

Dear Americans,

Hi, it’s God.

Thou shalt not allow Nazis to takeover thy government.

Come on. You fought a whole war over this.

Local activists and organizers were the beating heart of No Kings Day — and they will keep leading the fight on the ground in your community. Use our map to see what groups are near you and get in touch with your local Indivisibles: indivisible.org/groups
Still call them. Even Marjorie Taylor Greene shared consern for the cost of healthcare (not that I like anything else she says). But at least you are tying up the phones and annoying them. If you feel small and insignificant, think about a misquoted in the room while you are trying to sleep.
They say it does make a difference, but only if you are a constituent.
You speak as if I don't personally know anyone like you or yours. I assure you I do. I, too, feel very protective of those people. I am trying to save what's left of our democracy and change our government so that this can never happen again. I'm trying to do this the best I can. I wish you well.
If they were my Senators and Representative, I would be on the phone asking them why.
Please don't make assumptions about my position. In this moment I believe Repub = MAGA/Nazi, Dem = someone who still believes in and would like to have a functioning democracy. Voting 3rd party leaves you with one of those two options. If it's the Repub, we all have to live with that, like right now
The people are more powerful than the oligarchs if we are all engaged and can all pull in the same direction.
I appreciate your civility in our conversation, even to the point of correcting me when I made a generalization. We don't have to agree on everything. I'm just hoping we can all work together to get our democracy back. I hope conversations like ours will help. Thank you.
I totally wish that this could happen. We need to work to change the system. I believe, if we can dislodge the present regime, whomever is elected will have to make sweeping charges because we are now seeing what kind of awful changes can be done. But we all have to pull in the same direction.
I want to vote for candidates who will stand up for my rights as well. But serious question, in our present system, if neither candidate ticks all of your boxes, what do you do?
