Basically all US policy is at this point about indulging Trump’s irrational obsessions, petty grudges, and corrupt grifts, and then taking secondary and tertiary measures to mask the consequences of those policies.
lol, great, so we're now subsidizing Argentine ranchers at the expense of American ranchers. Seems politically sustainable, no questions from me.

I'm so disappointed in Governing magazine, a beloved and vital publication where I am proud to have started my career in journalism 26 years ago. They turned their backs on journalistic principles and their readers. www.politico.com/news/magazin...

Honestly, it's probably worth burying the demolition company in litigation. Surely not hard to find a non-frivolous claim. Make them, and any other Trump goons, regret doing his dirty work.

Without goons he can do a lot less.
Could someone sue the demolition company? Do they have potential criminal liability to be prosecuted in the next administration?
specifically, someone could potentially sue the park service

Trump calls a NYC mayoral candidate a “communist” and says “everything goes through the White House” — classic authoritarian framing: discredit the opponent, delegitimize the election, and assert control over local and state governments.
Trump: "It looks like we're gonna have a Communist as the mayor of New York. But here's the good news -- he's gotta go through the White House. Everything goes through the White House. At least this White House it does."

Has to be understood as a threat
Trump: "We can never let what happened in the 2020 election happen again. We just can't let that happen. I know Kash is working on it, everybody is working on it. And certainly Tulsi is working on it. We can't let that happen again to our country."

The 2020 election was free and fair, its result was legitimate, and this person’s conspiracy theories about it were universally thrown out of court because they were fabricated.

Conservative and Liberal Americans treasure our constitutional system, and we reject authoritarian rule.

WBEZ/Sun-Times are crowd-sourcing a map of ICE raids.

Put aside what they’re doing and to whom and why.

The fact that the people of an American city, including the mayor and governor, have to guess where Federal agents are operating, is itself insane.
