We say goodbye to iconic actress Diane Keaton.

A true original of the silver screen, the Oscar-winning screen legend stole our hearts with her quirky charm and took our breath away with her bold choices as a searing dramatic actress.

Our thoughts are with her family and friends.

Comfort viewing this afternoon and it’s really wonderful. The cast is great, with everybody’s crush, John Wilson conducting.

If HBO Max aired Tilda on a double bill with The Miraculous Year, their 2010 pilot about a Sondheim-like Broadway composer, with Kathryn Bigelow directing Norbert Leo Butz, Frank Langella, Hope Davis, and Patti LuPone, it would be the most 🏳️‍🌈 event of the TV year.

RIP Diane Keaton

I feel like giving up. All the people who made this world worth living in are leaving us while the monsters in power hang on.

I love Diane Keaton!
Annie Hall was a touchstone movie for me.
After seeing her in AH I wanted to emulate her in some way, so I basically forced an optician to give me a prescription so I could wear eyeglasses like hers.
I absolutely adore her & I feel like I’ve lost a family member. RIP 🥲😓

I’m shocked! I’m so sad. What happened? I simply adored her!

OMG!! No! No!
I can’t believe it!

Rest well Diane Keaton.

Same here. I would roam with a group of kids late into the darkness, but it’s a scary world out there now I’m told and the parents might as well get some fun out of it, I guess. In this town T & T is done the Sunday aft before Halloween, holidays have become so complicated in this century.

Yep, I already got my invite.

It’s a spray of cinnamon, peppermint, pine, spearmint & cloves. I have been going out in the morning & at sundown.
But a few minutes ago I had a direct assault & he got one right in the face!
He hauled ass. Yes!

In my boozy suburban neighborhood, there is a block of houses that set up bars in their garages for the adults as they walk their kids door to door for candy. Sounds like a disaster waiting to happen but it’s a tradition here.

Great actors, great voices!
I forgot how amazing John Hurt was as Caligula & his wonderful voice. So this weekend I’m gonna chase some of his movies down the old YT rabbit hole.

Since we’re living in biblical times, it makes sense that the squirrels are trying to take over.

It’s been a cease-fire for a few days, but the blackguards are back & I am armed w/ essential oil spray that seem to keep them at bay.

I spent last weekend watching it from beginning to end & it held me in its thrall. It had been years.
Brian Blessed, Sian Phillips, John Hurt(amazing) & of course Jacobi!
