keep having this recurring intrusive thought about someday i'm gonna call someone a pervert as it's shorthand for "cares way too much about something" and have to explain it to my nephew. ends up with nephew calling his preschool teacher a nap pervert. always telling us it's nap time.

this lady keeps posting about her beetlejuice sweater she got for halloween but it's clearly a freddy kreuger sweater. The stripes are the wrong color, they go the wrong direction. beetlejuice doesn't even wear sweaters. I know that Kant would completely ruin her but what would other philosophers do

i think it's cool that they stopped adding types once they invented fairy type and it beats everything that used to be cool and can only be defeated by carrying slime around in your pocket. like , the ultimate pokemon is gay and you have to be team rocket and battle w/ farts if you don't like it

every time i see a joke about the two guards someone asks both of them several questions to figure it out and it's actually very easy because of the test questions but that's not the deal! I am vibrating like a dryer with a brick in it because of trying not to argue with every joke i see

I was about to clear a very difficult stake in Balatro and had the Joker that adds a multiplier every time you sell a card and was going into the final hand and rerolling and selling cards and accidentally sold the joker. Maybe none of that makes sense to you but imagine a Greek myth about hubris.

This also indicates the essential dishonesty of saying “it’s just a tool.” A hammer is a tool. Nobody writes about the “inevitability” of hammers. Nobody has ever studied the harmful effects of hammers on learning and concluded that teachers must all hit their students with hammers “responsibly.”
