Also, with FF7, they make it VERY clear that it's less a new definitive way to play and more an alternate take on the story that in some ways, acts as a spiritual sequel to the original, with the restriction that it doesn't contradict where the characters all are by Advent Children.

This is why I don't bitch too much at remakes like the FF7 ones or the upcoming Yakuza Kiwami 3. Because even if you disagree with the changes, the originals are still widely available legally with no issue.

This doesn't solely apply to bad sequels. I remember when there was a brief time it was reported (later debunked) that "Soda Pop" was written with AI, the internet jumped a bandwagon to say KPop Demon Hunters as a whole was never actually that good.

Do these people have their OWN opinions?

Can I just say I despise it when a new movie in a series comes out, is a dud and so the internet immediately goes "OH IT WAS NEVER GOOD!" I've seen it happen SOOOOOOO fucking much it's annoying.

I've been accused in the past of vocally supporting gay ships involving characters I voice solely for the sake of pandering.

Recently the voice actor for Dr Ratio in Honkai Star Rail came out in support of Charlie Kirk and his ideals, and when saying this he added in one of many posts that “many fellow VAs feel the same.”

Some actors have hand waved this statement as bullshit.

But I do think it’s important to examine.
