yeah...when everyone kept telling me ffxiv is the best mmo...I knew I couldn't and wouldn't play any other.

yeah, when I would play even in story mode after those fights I'd have to go do something else (or really nothing just stare into space) for a while...to each their own

I remember I got so stressed and upset I went to play XV, made a blunder and Gladio yelled at me and I cried....

People keep telling me “you feel awesome completing something difficult” and I’m over here like “no. I feel stressed and upset”

But that’s people’s general reason at least the ones I’ve asked. It’s some sort of dopamine rush to finish and I don’t get it

I mean back when the challenge level was easier for the trials I’d just kick it by myself and do “how not to play this game” streams for my friends but now….all I saw last I played was everyone bitching at everyone else for shitty runs. And ppl parsing and making backhanded comments about it

God yes. Then there’s the good gear which requires special mats and then even your gear for getting them isn’t good enough because the gear you need requires those mats and…

When they first brought in the trust system I was elated. Until I couldn’t get into endwalker because the very first dungeon required gear that was higher than even the crafted gear. You had to raid for it and trust system doesn’t do more than 4 party dungeons. That was bs
