Like there are TV actors in the OT cast. Seth Green, Marina Sirtis, Keith David. Sure. But like half of the cast of ANDROMEDA had been or still were on fuckin GAME OF THRONES!
David Ajala, Iké Amadi, Gethin Anthony, Clancy Brown, Jamie Clayton, Sacha Dhawan, Natalie Dormer, Kate Fleetwood, Rob Kazinsky, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Gemma Whelan, and plenty more people in small roles of equal stature to the (very skilled) VAs of the OT ... and then you go do this

OBLIVION gets a lot of shit for its weird acting but it's very rare that you can hear the VAs sitting in front of their mic staring at the sound desk in complete bewilderment. With ANDROMEDA, however, you can hear it All The Time
It sounds like they did it TES IV: OBLIVION style — infamously, the VAs who worked on OBLIVION were just handed a list of their lines in alphabetical order. The thing is, the OBLIVION team clearly did enough active vocal direction and retakes to paper over this; it's rarely very obviously noticeable

If there's one really substantial criticism I have of this game it's the shoddy voice acting, all the more noticeable because it's got such a high-powered cast who are clearly putting so much work in that they're being let down by seemingly almost nonexistent crew

My phone is never charged for these kind of things because every time it gets hot and humid in the kind of way which precipitates power outages, the internet starts failing every minute or two several hours beforehand, forcing me to hotspot into my phone
