I'm trying, but there is no wiggle room in our upcoming month. There wasn't much to begin with and I haven't sold anything.

As always I'm willing to haggle.

I will be at the Bent County craft fair at the Bent county community center on highway 50 in Las Animas, CO on the 25th of this month.

"Disassociating"

Todays painting. I frequently let my mind wander and paint what is in my heart.

The world is intense, jagged and disjointed to me right now. I am closed form, dark and shielded trying to be seen and be invisible at the same time.

Depends. I've taken 80 mg at a time so far,but I'm a medical user. I will caution that more that 10mg is a lot and 15 to 20 is usually too much for most people. Too much of an edible is a big commitment.

For me 100mg might help on a really bad day.

They can't give it away here, that's awesome 🤘

We have a family of opossums, a skunk that used to visit with its family, two feral cats we feed and waaaaaaay too many birds. Our trees hold an army of starlings and they are voracious and really bratty.

We have to have everything under chicken wire cages.

"Coffee has almost no nutritional value and lots of substitutes"

The Atlantic gaslighting me.

I'm going to have another cup with my finger up.

Tariffs have rapidly increased the price of coffee—a drink with almost no nutritional value and lots of functional substitutes. Yet coffee may also be the one thing Americans can’t live without, @elcush.bsky.social writes:
The Drink That Americans Won’t Give Up Without a Fight
Coffee has almost no nutritional value and lots of substitutes. It’s also, apparently, too important to lose.

Leftists are just wreckers. They are a huge part of why we currently have no bench.

We discovered the thing in our yard that grows the most and looks like a very tall dandelion is called devil's lettuce. Very bad...

This area is really hard. If it survives the rains and the mold then survives the extreme heat, it will be killed by giant baseball sized hail.

It's really hard to grow your own food.

It reminds me of all the people I've known who thought they could just grow their own weed.

It's a complicated process that requires the right equipment and a lot of time...

Good luck. And luck has a LOT to do with it.

Thank you for hosting!

My name is Ian and I'm a self taught traditional artist working in many different mediums and styles.

I've heard gallerists say that you should have a consistent portfolio.

Oh well... 😅

Putin gave Netanyahu and Hamas money on the same trip. It was documented in the news...

This whole thing was a brutal play.

So many similarities to GOP candidate Nixon dispatching Kissinger to sabotage LBJ's Vietnam talks, initiating a horrendous Cambodian bombing campaign after winning the 1968 election - only to sign essentially the same deal in 1973 that LBJ had put together 5 years earlier.

Six years ago, Uganda announced a bill to legalize murdering gay people. The National Christian Organization paid a preacher to go to Uganda and help their lawmakers with the bill. Chick-fil-A funds The National Christian Org.

If you eat at Chick-fil-A, this is what your money goes to.

Time for a little history lesson and a little "un-learning":
Lisa Simpson standing on stage giving a presentation to an audience, with the big screen behind her reading:

"COLONIALISM HISTORICALLY
ERASED TRANS EXISTENCE
FROM EVERY CULTURE
IT CAME ACROSS
AND NOW HAS THE AUDACITY
TO CLAIM THAT BEING TRANS
IS A MODERN CREATION"

Accessibility shouldn't be an after-thought.
Accessibility helps EVERYONE.
Yes, even the able-bodied.
No one is able-bodied forever.
Advocate for an accessible world NOW.

A sketch from a while back
A pencil sketch of a little H of dirt rods there is a grass field and a decrepit telephone pole on the right side of the H and a tree on the other and a large field behind receding off towards two distant trees and little foothills in the background with dynamic puffy clouds.

Some miniatures I did from memories of my time in Taos , NM

1) I shared a very intimate and nonsexual experience with a lovely man who said he was a fiddler.

2) a favorite hill on the trail behind the house I was in.

3) the road to the house

4) I went to this lone aspen when I needed peace.
A 5×7 pastel painting of a little street with tall pines on the left and a bright fall cottonwood on the right there is a little road behind the tree and a hill leading up to tall jagged pointy rocks A 5×7 pastel painting of little hill covered in sagebrush with two bright orange fall trees and a lone red maple on the left A 5×7 pastel painting of a little dirt road that runs from the lower left to the middle there's grass receding towards a wooden fence on the right side a barbwire fence runs along the dirt road and behind that on the left is a large fall colored cottonwood a light green field receding off towards a row of cottonwoods in the background and the edge of two little foothills A 5×7 pastel painting of a fall aspen on a tiny islandwoth a little stream and cattails behind it
