Manchester half marathon this morning. I lost 6 weeks of training due to a hamstring injury and spend last week feeling ill and run down - I wasn’t confident in my goal of Having A Nice Time. Nevertheless I had a lovely run at a better pace than predicted so I am happy.

yes, keeping the dirty clothes with the clean clothes sounds totally sane and much more reasonable than storing them in a basket until you are ready to do washing. Why did no-one else think of this.

I’ve received an AI-written email response. I suspect this because it mostly repeats the email that I wrote first back to me. Even worse, no reply was needed or if the person wanted to they could have just written “thanks.” This is how the robots get us: by wasting our time until we die.

Wow! My one attempt at growing a pumpkin produced an enormous plant that harboured slugs, killed all its neighbours and grew 0 pumpkins despite my efforts to pollinate it!

I’ve seen a few news things about them doing this. One escaped at night, broke into a different tank, ate some of the animals in there, and then went home to look innocent. Truly ingenious

The internet connection has been down for 5 days.
The internet provider also claims their system that would allow them to check if anyone is fixing it is also down. So no-one knows why is wrong, why, if anyone can or will fix it, or anything else.

Went to see @samaverycomedy.com in the Lowry…a very good end to my terrible week!
Go to see him if you can, before he becomes too famous and the tickets are too expensive. Which seems sure to happen soon.
