i think in the West anyway there is this very discrete mental divide between “fictional” and “non-fictional” works wherein no piece of fiction, no matter how directly allegorical to real history, can ever be considered informative, insightful, or revelatory in an applicable way

Whatever dawg, every single day I see people's lives changed because they were able to access online community & get a request for aid out. Fed & housed. Krotpkin says it's the choice we make about our relationship to who we give to that makes it charity, charity is top down & comes with conditions.
