I spent a lot of my life drawing stick-thin figures in my art because I was just as immersed in these unhealthy body-standards as anyone else. I've made an active effort these past few years to encompass a far wider spectrum of body-types. Embrace diversity in physicality, it is an act of rebellion.
EDs/heroin chic is back in fashion globally, as an elder millennial that lived through this all before take care of yourselves out there. Maybe enjoy music without the visuals or just start clicking away from all scary-thin pics the algo is serving up to everyone.

art teachers: teach how to draw fatness! i had a teacher who professed that it was better to learn from thin models, and that’s true if you only ever wanna draw thin people, but guess what? fat people are also people and we will never be given the representation we deserve if “too complex” to teach.
Honestly, it's so much harder because nobody bothered to teach us. I've been making my characters fatter over time, and purposely making chubby characters just because it's a skill I want to have and a representation that I believe should exist
