It's actually kinda astounding how often I find myself to be the only one to head back to catch a straggler in vermintide because it's 100% guaranteed that an assassin/hook rat will target them when they're alone and you always need groups of 2.

I always thought of it as "How much time does the game waste in response to failure." Since it covers why people might savescum, why people look up guides for things they've yet even played, let alone discovered on their own. Sometimes the diff between retaking a test and retaking the whole year.
(Y'all, this is not about "hard games are bad". It's about games which purport to offer the freedom to play as whatever you want, but in practice have extremely specific baked-in assumptions about the player character's mechanical capabilities and just refuse to tell you what those assumptions are.)
