A little bird told me it is portfolio day. I'm a watercolorist with a background in traditional illustration. I've been using the online space to experiment with digital textures and mediums. Monsters, creatures and Villains are my focus and joy. #portfolioday

this is what's missing right now. i forgot about the fucking shroom plushies too, those are also gone. everything is signed on the bottom with KFL except the patches

A drawing that imitates the style of the original Curious George illustrations. Curious George (a small tail-less primate of some kind) looks worried, an open bottle of benadryl nearby as he looks over his shoulders to see that his own shadow has become the Hatman- the figure that those who take too much benadryl claim to see. The figure somewhat resembles The Man in the Yellow Hat from the original books in shape, but distorted.

Its really rich and dynamic- you should be proud. I grew up around so much Bosh and Bruegel that I see some influence there but its totally your own style and charm. Really inspiring!

The Trevor Project will also remain available directly, just not through option 3 on 988.

The Trevor Project have their own helpline and webchat that are not shutting down. But they could probably really do with donations and support to make sure it stays that way.

From a dream- Disney doughnuts called "Meanwhiles". A POV youtube like video of a man at a strange Disney park with someone who had a seizure(?) before he got to try them. "All I remember is the taste of the plastic wrapper before I went down." Optional sugar print outs of the Beast and Esmeralda.

Had a dream where I stole shitty cheesecake factory branded remote control cars. Like a bag of these, with tangled up wires, all scuffed. Fabric-y wires were fraying and there were decals on the side of the these blocky clunky plastic "race cars" with the typical sort of cheesecake factory stripes.

A presumably undead figure of unusual proportions and anatomy- a ridged spine, an unnaturally small waist in something like a corset and long gloves on clawed hands faces away. Long hair drapes over his shoulders and a book floats by his claws. There is a gentle but sinister glow from his hand and his breath, sigils float in the air nearby. The lines are sketchy, the background murky, all done in digital watercolors.

Man, I had some great ideas as a kid. I sort of want to revisit some of these designs and concepts. My use of color was so free. And my phase of putting horns, bat wings and scorpion tails on everything for a while was so brave. A visionary.

Been going through sketchbooks that survived the flood. I'm putting any pages I want to keep in binders and tossing a lot. Its nice to save some stuff from my childhood, middle school, early high school finally put somewhere. Seeing my style morph around has been neat too.
