I'm so proud of everyone from my old neighborhood of Rogers Park in Chicago. I see what you have been and are doing. I am so proud of how organized the community is and how much more so everyone is becoming. It is inspiring. Just one example... And this is something EVERYONE can do. Everyone.

Ambiguity plus population overlap is the reason not to, also differences in presentation (my kid has comm delays and difficulties i didn't, I'm hyperverbal, yet same heredity and both audhd, etc)

In advocacy settings i would rather we were grouped, it benefits "less" and "more" autistic both imo

The bass is doing a lot of work too, this must have been a session band trying to make a buck. The lead singer sings like a backup singer. Bassist and guitar doing good soul-jazz stuff with the piano

Just learned that the rock guitar sample from Rap Snitch Knishes is dave matthews covering space oddity sped up to 95rpm. MF you were dipping in some freaky wells, that is obscene. 100% sick

(I'm mainly a guitarist too so this isnt expert info -- my kid was doing pretty good violin before she became a serious teenage pianist, so i figured this all out through my own sticker shock)

I think it's also just suffering a huge inflation due to the class associations with the instrument sadly but yeah, the difference between a $100 violin and a $600 one is acoustics. But playability is all about the strings and bow -- which are so pricy they help inflate the instrument imo

yeah and it even comes down to strings and the bow -- some like, niche material quality stuff, to where it's more like, "good strings cost $90 so you had might as well spend $600 on your violin" 😵‍💫 ultimately strings that must cost $5 to make instead of $0.25. But /someone/ will now pay $90, so

a student violin set is like $100. violin is sadly awful for starting because a $600 violin with a $100 bow plays so much easier that it will piss you off later to have learned on an amazon quality one. I bought a cheapy one before a hurricane in the 2010s and had a lot of fun with it, still
