I still would have gone, since it was a goodbye party for friends moving quite far away. I just wish I'd known what I was getting myself into. And that leaving quickly was off the table

When you think you going to a gathering that's a big room stand around and talk party with maybe some food because it's at a restaurant and you can totally duck out when you've maxed out on people. Some coffee and snuggle time with Finn before I finish setting up for the annual Halloween pizza party!

Normally it's the weekend before Halloween, but Nov 1st is close enough! And the date worked better for more people, including me. The week after a trip is too soon for a party!

But I really should start work on how to decorate our booth for our December event. They want everyone to go all out on the holiday decorating and I think I have a fun idea!

Realizing I just got a dress that with a mask will be a MUCH more recognizable character for Halloween. Also probably more comfortable since it doesn't involve wearing a blanket.

Not this year. I have a show box and at bigger extra stock box I keep at home that I needed to pull from. I was hoping to do some new designs this year but it's been hard to be motivated to do creative business stuff with *gestures at everything*

Trying to do a little fall show prep every day and today I finally remembered to check our show box of paper toys to see which ones I need to restock. I usually get to the show and go 'oh crap!'

That's wild! I would hardly read at all if it wasn't for e-books! To help me focus I'm almost always knitting while I'm reading, which would be impossible to do with a paper book.

Uh oh! My coffee cup has run empty but I'm stuck in a Caturday trap!

Finn had been super cuddly since I've returned from my trip. At first I thought he missed having access to the couch I like to sit on in the mornings but he keeps choosing to sit as close as possible to me, not just on the couch.

We'll I was going to try and keep up with learning Italian even though I'm back from my trip, but the new update to Duolingo is awful. I didn't love the heart system but this new energy bar system is bullshit

Behold my new knitting set up! 🧶 Too much couch sitting angers my lower back. Just a standing hurts my back in different ways. So we combined the standing desk I bought to the old treadmill we had and it is perfection! Can enjoy all my favorite hobbies without spending too much time sitting
