A couple of cattle I met on the South West coast path who cornered me in a slightly creepy way and wanted to talk about some critically acclaimed animated films they had recently seen, when all I wanted to do was go for a swim.

This is "Boots & Polish" by Henry Silk which is undated but I suspect that it comes from c.1931-32. Henry was, by all accounts, almost a recluse, (his nephew, Elwin Hawthorne painted a picture of Henry with that title) so a lot of his work features "close-up" images like this. #HenrySilk

Bought another photo album, I couldn't resist.
But it's about my home town during the war and was put together with lots of love and talent, even staged photo scenes involving a police officer.
And it has the full names in it, so it's going to be fun researching.
