Writing is literally finding these transitions, thinking through the big picture and the little, making sense of the events. The idea of handing off this process to AI is just shocking, and the fact that AI guys don't understand that suggests they do not understand much about art or writing.

At a minimum, Trump’s actions display a depraved indifference to human life.

At worst, Trump and his administration want more people to get sick and to die because the resulting emotional, physical, and financial vulnerability will make Americans more pliable as they continue to consolidate power.

That TikTok account has a few fake videos of reporters getting detained. They make these videos because it’s a big story in the news. Real reporters are getting arrested. And so people are making AI videos to get engagement on TikTok.

For example. There's a right wing FB influencer named Rick Dancer whose entire business model is to take advantage of and exacerbate the sense of chaos in Oregon. He lives in freaking Montana. When I pointed this out in a neutral way, no one picked up on the irony. He even liked my post himself.
