I had the *worst* attack of echolalia last night, blending together “HAM! HOT!” from Star Trek replicator guy with the Fever chant from Patapon. I was in tears from laughing so hard and could not stop.

Today’s good news: swept, vacuumed, and cleaned house, did five loads of laundry (aftermath from the fur-children having fleas), and kept myself hydrated.

Taking a page out of my partner’s book, in today’s good news: I perfect-cleared a sequence in Beat Saber on Expert difficulty that has thus far eluded me. Also, Coco curled up in my lap and fell asleep while I was doing dayjob work.

I had a really awful migraine the other day, but my cats did their best to help.

Me looking miserable with a migraine while my two cats curl up on the yellow and orange blankets in my lap. Both cats are very, very asleep and I love them.

Update: doot blaster continues to be amazing. My partner and I played off-main all the way up to tempered (8*) apex monsters. Still got 180-no-scoped by the Gore Magala punch though.

I am picking up Doot Blaster (HH) in MH Wilds and I gotta say this is the silliest thing in the world and I love it.

I’m coming from LARP, but yes. I have a character who has massive traumas, and they inform every aspect of how she interacts with other characters from violent reactions to being surprised to nightmares to never wanting to be without her security blanket weapons.

Do you ever consider the mental & emotional impact violence has on your PC?

In many TTRPGs violence is a given. Sections of the rules cover combat but what about it's other effects. Does your character sleep soundly or have nightmares? Do they compartmentalize to deal?
