I think, for me, at the end of the day DJing at its purest is about being so totally enamored with music and sharing it with others that you, in a sense, have no choice. Being so in thrall to sound that there’s no timeline where you wouldn’t be seeking out community w/ those who feel it the same way

No matter how deep I get into noise and experimental I always come back to My Bloody Valentine and get totally bowled over by their sonic tsunami. Total immersion and fuzzy friction, a free fall really.
