Nooo! Now they plan to set the EPA loose to monitor wastewater for traces of mifepristone or its metabolites to monitor the use of abortion pills.

Kristi Noem, while governor of South Dakota, supplemented her roughly $130,000 salary by secretly accepting $80,000 donated to a political nonprofit she was affiliated with, records show.

She never disclosed this income on federal ethics forms.

Very good explanation. The embedded short 3 minute video by Omar Farha is worth watching. 🧪

The Nobel Prize in chemistry went to the scientists behind metal-organic frameworks — tunable crystal structures with remarkably high porosity.

A MOF researcher reflects on why, even after years of studying them, these structures still feel a little “like magic” 🧬 ⬇️

Metal-organic frameworks: Nobel-winning tiny ‘sponge crystals’ with an astonishing amount of inner space
Just a gram of these tiny crystals can have an internal surface area as big as a soccer field. A materials expert explains the almost magical chemistry of MOFs.

The 2025 #NobelPrize in Physics honors scientists who proved that quantum effects persist even in large superconducting circuits.

If you’re still scratching your head about it, we had an electrical engineer try to explain the work:

Nobel Prize in physics awarded for ultracold electronics research that launched a quantum technology
The discovery that superconducting circuits can behave like quantum particles was a revolutionary development in the field of quantum technologies.

"The nitrogen in our DNA, the calcium in our teeth, the iron in our blood, the carbon in our apple pies were made in the interiors of collapsing stars.
We are made of starstuff."

A very well deserved Nobel prize for very impactful work on metal-organic frameworks (MOFs).

This is nothing more than a continuation of the president’s desperate weaponization of our justice system.

I am not fearful — I am fearless.

We will fight these baseless charges aggressively, and my office will continue to fiercely protect New Yorkers and their rights..

This is autocracy unfolding in plain daylight. They are going to go after everyone on his “enemy list” one by one, with fabricated and spurious charges.
azagmayes.bsky.social
The indictment of a sitting Attorney General for spurious charges is, even for the Trump administration, a shocking abuse of power. I stand with Attorney General James and the rule of law. These charges will be thrown out quickly if there’s any justice left in the United States.
